Hello everyone, I have made it back from the doctors, groc. shopping, going to the bank and the court house for new tags and did it all without drowning! lol It has been raining here since sometime really early this morning. I have been lurking here for a little while keeping up with what everyone has been up to but no time to join in till now.

Rocket I got your message and I think I will try to upload pics later today, still have cooking to do be for I can hang here for much time.

Going to go back and catch on the conversation and get my veg. soup finished.

And now I have to get Hannah from the bus, trudge her through the snow which she will want to play in, bribe her with hot chocolate and yummy pretzel stuff and then make taco dip. That's the most I did today. I was worth only a nap for most of this snowy day...

I'm making fish n chips for dinner. Was going to do boiled cabbage,figured I'd rather do the quick and easy thing tonite.

OMGoodness.... my two fave bands are comin to concert Feb 5th. hehehe Have I mentioned how big of a clash I am to stereotypes? lol I so badly wanna go, and the girl's would love to go too, but I betcha Jim dun want us to go see Disturbed and Sevendust. lol Trans Siberian Orchestra is going to Lubbock in Jan. I wanna gooooo!!!

Algo glad ya pop back in to visit, sure glad ya want to stick around with us. We love all the company we can get the more the merrier.

Well Algo is having Veg soup, Sk

is having Fish and Chips, I think we are going to have Jumbo Shrimp, baked tatos and either Greenbeans or asspargus. What are the rest of ya having???

Then I will check here and then go back to my circles for Zoe's afghan. So when her afghan is done I am thinking I'll get my son's unfinshed afghan out of the closet and finish it. Then start on my jacket with my Beautiful swap squares. hmmm

Shanah, you are so welcome! I am just glad everything got there in one piece. I was a little worried about the ornament getting there without being crushed. Hope Hannah enjoys playing with the penguin.
What a couple of days it's been. The cold ya'll have given me has me wishing I could take about a week off from work. I came home last night & fell asleep on the couch. Thank goodness I had supper in the crockpot! Had a mtg nearly all day today. The good news is that we only have 8 more days of school before Christmas break!!!

I've had to laugh a little - and I'm sure some others here will understand. Rocket - did you say you had 11 inches of snow? Here, if there's any snow on the roads, they cancel school! The joke is that all it takes is one flake to fall, and we want two things from the grocery store - milk & bread. And at the same time those parents are heading for the stores, they are on their phones calling the school office to find out, "Why haven't you closed the school yet????" Really brings out the "best" in some people!

Well, the chaos is dying down.... now it's just lots of restless nights until we know what's going to happen to the house. I'm going to try and put that time to good use and get my stuff done and out..... a huge apology to my partner as it will be a bit delayed... but I will do what I can to try and make up for it!

Forgot to tell yall about today at the doctors, it was funny and a little embarrising too. I was just there to get more BC pills, (not ready for another little one just yet) and I took my yarn to get some work done on my cousins baby blanket. I was sitting in the hall where they put you in between taking your weight and BP and seeing the doc. when a nurse walked by and was like- what are you doing? She said she hadn't seen anyone crocheting in years. Befor I knew it i was surrounded by the ppl working there watching me. They all wanted to know what I was making. I love to talk to ppl and share crocheting but that much attention all at once makes me shy

I told them about this site, maybe some of them will check it out.

Well I got to go track down the Sheriff he stole my cell phone.

I got my squares , yay
they are all gorgeous I feel soooo inadequate mine were very plain. But now that I know how to do them I'll have to try different patterns.
Thank you SE for the stitch holder it's beautiful.And thank you Maw for the chick he's so cute.
I got to see Garret today but DD wouldn't give back my camera she has the other 2 kids back and she wants to take more pics with them. So it is very quiet here DH is at a meeting Logan and Sophie back home and I miss them.

Guess I'll go look at my yarn stash my studio doesn't have enough light to paint at night.
