A little hook type thing to help mark your place in your crochet project usually for working in rounds or stitches that change patterns.

OH! I don't know what rounds are either I don't think. When do you do a round? Is it actually round? lol I have a limited knowledge of crochet. My grandma taught me when I was 6 and I made pot holders and coasters. forgot how to make the coasters, so all I could remember was single crochet when I decided to start crocheting again before my first baby was born. So from that point I was self taught with a little help from one of my moms friends here and there. I just did dbl trbl and trbl trbl chrochet the other day for the first time while making my ornament swap ornament. I still have much to learn grasshoppa ^_^

and omg that is the cutest thing ever!! Is that the one that SE sent?

ETA: the little animals amigurami I know I butchered the spelling of that, scare me!

Yes a round is actually round. You're working in a circle, though it can be any shape that goes continuously on instead of back and forth like a square. After I got past my square stage, I am finding rounds a lot more my style.

You do a round for hats, critters, umm.... Ok that's the extent of my knowledge... mittens? Time for the experts to jump in.

LOL I think that is a really clear picture of what they are

I actually do rounds (I think ^_^) when making my potholders. The instructions that I have for them are handwritten from my grandmother, and I don't remember it saying rounds persay, but I think she just kept it simple for me. She told me that if I wanted it to be different colors, I could use variegated yarn, and she also taught me how to join a new color. I'm glad that I sat still long enough for her to teach me cause she's passed away now. I'll have to post pics of them someday. It takes me so long to post pics, so I make my hubby do it lol

Morning yall... hope everyone is doing something constructive.
Alyssa's still home from school... sure hope this isnt the flu.... already tired of both of em being home at the same time. Dangit! Schedule says one during the day, two in the evening, except on weekends. LOL

Caydence has officially graduated from speech therapy! Yayy! Now what are we gonna do on wednesday mornings? I really detest straying from our schedule. My kids Thrive on a schedule. Plus, it's the only way for me to remember what the days are. lol Monday, school, Tuesday, Alyssa speech after school, Wednesday, Caydence speech. Thursday, ummm pet store, feedstore. Friday, end of the week! Saturday, cartoon morning. Sunday, church, grocery store. lol

Hey everyone! been busy again so just now getting caught up in my reading (posts) and wanted to say hello and how is everyone?

Went to the doc. again. Yesterday was for BC and today was for Metformin. Wont have to go back for 3 more months yay! I can't really complain. Since my husband got layed off and I don't have insurance at my part time postal job the health dept. lets me go there cheep. Just don't like the needles lol.

I have been on the phone all day trying to track down the wearabouts of 4 lil kids after their trailer burned down this morning. Anytime something happens with Mexicans around here I always get the call. Everyone thinks I speak spanish cuz my husband does. Anyway, happy ending, the family lost everything and thats sad but alllll kinds of ppl are pitching in and replacing everything they lost and more. They are going to be the family we (ppl i work with) are going to sponser for Christmas.

I got a few more squares made while waiting for the doctor. I think I have almost 20 but they are only 3-4 inches. going to trim them in another color later.

Going to be home all day i think so will be in and out on here.

This is my little washcloth I was bragging about. So proud!!!

I like this pattern because it is a little stretchy. I went to walmart this morning and got some pretty colors so I can make more of them.

We've been busy catching the neighbor's wandering dogs today. This one lady has this huge beagle colored-bloodhound looks and size dog that tends to get loose and head straight here. Then another two lil wandering strays belong to another neighbor that Jim ran into when taking the beagle thing home.

Yall have fun.. gotta get the girls to nappy land so I can try to sit down a minute. lol
