hee hee. I will see if I can convince Mark. Hannah is already convinced. We won't have our tree until this weekend. I don't know if I can handle the cleaning in the house that we have to do before we get the darn thing. And really, I am not sure if we have room for the tree except on or in the Brooder anyway.
Algo, the only rule that the SS had was the deadline and the fact that the gift had to be homemade.
They are all really wonderful so far. I think we might do either a Secret Easter Bunny or a Santa in July exchange in 2009, so you can get in on that one.
Oh and I was wondering if there has ever been a yarn swap? I was looking at yarn today and I am going to have some lovely homemade things and already have some, and finding yarn to match something someone has done in another part of the country seems to be quite the quest. I know we can match names and whatever, but I don't seem to have the same colors as the rest of you in any of my craft stores and well...I hate to admit it, but I *won't* shop at
Wal-mart. The ones around here have mostly closed their craft sections are simply horrible to even think about entering through the doors (totally chaotic zoos.) So, I am limited to Michaels and JoAnns and occasionally Hancock Fabrics (the last of a dying breed) and sometimes I get lucky at the dollar store.
Purr, I hate driving at night too. *shudder* That bread and stuff sounds really yummy though. I am really hungry!
