Well it is really a sad thing to be so excited about dead rats but hey, I love that this stuff is finally working and I am embarrassed to say that over the past few weeks, with the Decon RAT & Mice pellets..only that, not the MICE and rat, that I have either buried or flipped under the shed at least 40 BIG fat rats!!! This is graphic so skip if you are weak stomached...they apparently gobble up the pellets, they are blue so you can see them gone the next day and then it is about a 4 day process to start seeing them everywhere..I have no idea why they crawl out from under the shed and die, amybe they are heading to my pond but only one made it even close, they die and often have blood around their bottom parts so they obviously do bleed internally to death. Ususally at the 4 day mark after putting out the pellets I will see a handful of dead ones but still I can't kill them all as there are new tracks in my pen every single morning..I must have had millions of them!!! "Ben" and his buddies! I have another box in the shed, I am now buying it two at a time in the 4 packs and putting ALL of the 4 packs out..one I open and sprinkle the pellets behind my pen and the others I crack open and shove under the shed. One morning last week I freaked when I turned the light on in the pen and let the chickens down..there was a honkin big rat in the pen, I turned to get the rack to get him out and he ran out through the corner tunnel he had made, the chickens had looked at him but ignored him, he was dying I think. I haven't had a problem yet with them eating or pecking one but seems the rats are not dying in the pen either. Remember that there are two boxes of the Decon and I wasted alot of money on the wrong one..one says MICE & rat and apparently it isn't every strong, the one you want says RAT and Mice and even
Walmart carried it for about 6 bucks a 4 pack..good luck!!!
The oreo stuff sounds yummy and the orange barred rock is awesome and the critters are soooo cute!! I have a bunch of posts to read to catch up here!!
