thanks I'm trying but there is so much to do.
My town doesn't recycle yet but we got notice in our bill that said they are going to start. I can't wait they should have done it years ago.

hee hee, my Grizzly has started punctually crowing between 5 and 7 AM...today at least he decided to only do it once. He did it like 6 or 7 times yesterday, and today he slept in...yesterday was 5 AM.

Hope everyone feels ok despite injuries and whatnot. my hooks have gone on strike again. Or my crochet muse went into hiding because of all the other chaos going on right now. I still may have to drop out of swaps too, unless I can get my act together.

LOL!! Nancy!! I think Hookers are bit "high risk" for insurance coverage!!! At least it seems so with all of them banged up lately, lol!!!

Today I am working on baby squares and my daughter's afghan. Have ya'll noticed that there is no end to the number of things to get involved in on this forum anymore?!! Man, the crafting temptation is TERRIBLE for those of us like me that are weak!!!LOL!! Too little time, too may crafts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

crochet patterns of all kinds

I don't know if anyone has posted this before, but while looking for patterns for egg shapes...to do the Easter chick that Algo and I liked, I think I hit the mother load of crochet patterns!!!

AND they have a bunch of different chick, egg, and chicken patterns.

This site has just about every pattern imaginable! Enjoy!!!

Wuhoo I've been busy!
Dishes are done. Used the last of the laundry soap on the last load. hehe I sewed a lil bit, getting braver every day! Crocheted me a square for each of the swaps, baby and grown ups. lol Painted some more flowers and ivy on my cabinet door. Got dinner in the oven (baked beans), and I got my grocery list somewhat done, kids fed and napped (sorta). Sold 24 chicks so far.. hehehe
Then the hens really loved me, so far, 14 eggs... yayy!!

Hi Guys Just a note to let ya all know that I will be checking in during my lunch for a while. Our internet service has been was shut down and then (I hope not) they supposly cleared our acount. We are trying to get things straighten out. My DH was just hitting the roof with the internet folks on the phone. That cleared outall our emails, website, and settings we had.

Sorry that means I won't be on in the evenings until they try to get things straighten out. No early morning check ins either.

I might go through BYC withdraw

I am at Mom's right now giving her a bit a tutoring on posting on BYC so MAYBE you might get to hear from her some where some time.

Charlies' Chick. I am Karansleaf mother. I am new at this and may need some help now and then. I would like to join in on the spring crochet swap. I have been crocheting for more years than I care to admit to. I started with chickens at the age of nine. It was my chore to feed, gather the eggs after school. We had around 2,000 laying hens at the time. We had a rooster that had a mean streak, we fought daily. He would wait until I was on the last bucket of water then jump on my back. I was told not to hit him in defense. One day I was at the brakeing point and I clothes lined him . We had baked rooster for supper. Enough of my stories. Thank you all for having me.
