Thanks, everyone for the welcome. I haven't crocheted in a long while. Arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. But, have a baby afghan in progress from several yrs. ago that I'm ready to get back to work on. Right now I'm working on quilting projects. And some simple jewelry. And been working on Christmas card designs. LOL I have too many projects going on all the time. And currently two grandkids 24/7 - ages 4 1/2 and 18 months. I'm not as organized (or something) as when I had children at the same ages. LOL Then I worked full time, took care of a stable of horses, house, yard and garden, kids, hubby. Can't be that I've slowed down because I'm so much older! Gotta get going, y'all have a great day!

I guess I am going to have to come live with you for a month or two momofchoice!!! Just so I can learn all of your crafty and cooking lessons. I get those ideas, then have NO CLUE how to do them. And then my kids want to help me do them, hahaha
I made Caydence help me with her afghan, she complained, saying I was twisting her arm around backwards, hahaha Alyssa only wants to help when it involves glue, think she likes to get sticky so she can touch things. Think one of these days, I'm going to put her in some overalls covered in glue and roll her down a hill. She what she comes up with

Well, I have to figure out how to attach wigs to two girls who hate any kind of barrette or bobby pin attached to thier hair. Tenderheads...ughh

I agree, Skand, I think SE should adopt us. She has been inspiring me to attempt a lot of things though that I never even would think about getting up off my butt to do before.

My own mom would be happy. Now, I just have to get my kitchen organized and have it stay organized.

Good luck on the apple butter, Athena, sounds yummy and will be a great treat. My friend just left for either Iraq or Afghanistan, I am not sure which because he didn't say, last night...sure hope he's close to someone wonderful like you.

Happy Halloween, everyone! Queen Scoot, your graphics say it all. Our trick or treating was last weekend, so I have had a bowl of candy tempting me all week.

Must go out and tend the chickens, get out on errands to get catfood, and a number of other stuff and hey, I might actually get to the post office today, Maw!!! I have my new car! So I am going to be trying it out today.

Hey, ya'll! I just found this forum this morning, when I was looking up guidelines for a "High School Crochet Club". Hope you don't mind a new face! When I get home this evening, I'll find an avatar and post it.
I don't know anything about raising chickens - and don't think I want to - but I LOVE to crochet, so maybe you'll let me stay around for awhile!
