And then, there's me, with a flopping, flying skein of yarn, listening to Jim tell me I need to make a ball from the beginning. Which, I've done, and let me tell you, It is way easier to stop a wandering skein, then it is to stop a BALL of yarn rolling across the house, cause I always yank on the string closest to me thinking it'll stop. omgoodness!!

Well, gals I am going to go get comfy with my crochet I need to just de-stress from today (didn't get home till 7pm) I only live 2 1/2 miles from the office.

lol Jim aint no cat, more like.. skills of a bassett hound... with legs like a new born deer...if ya tip just right, he might fall over and not have the energy to get back up. lol
And if ya look at him dead in the eye,,, then slowly start leaning.. he leans... and doesn't quite stop till he's down.. lol

He's fun to mess with sometimes..cause he can't remember to remind hisself that it's happened before .

Well, I'm off to bed in case alyssa wakes up. They always wait till I'm almost there before they hollar at me..

Purr.. curl up with your new cool hook, stay calm and send out good vibes that DH stays warm and safe. I'll do the same as I curl up with mr comfy pillow.. and I dun mean scrawny bony hippy..lol

My hubby...notice it isn't DH yet.

10 years and he still can not help me with anything. Sorry...venting again. He went shopping today for me so we will see.

This is the first time he went off with a no idea gift or gifts.... I hope he does ok....

I spent 2 hours in the coop with a 6 pk off beer..... loving all those little sweet babes.....why do people pay for theropy. ?????

I will be fine tomorrow .

Howdy!

Haven't been on here at all today until just now. Been crocheting a bunch today, putting more hats on my etsy shop. Gotta make that egg money, right??? Lowered the price on our handmade ornaments, too....REALLY want egg money bad lol.

Skand...hope Alyssa is feeling better tomorrow.

Still trying to finish up heavy housecleaning....did some work in the garage today (we moved here 6 weeks ago...still trying to "straighten up") and tomorrow plan to finish up the inside cleaning....then it's done!!! Only maintenance cleaning then.

hey im going to head off the bed soon, work tomorrow but befor i go i wanted to post a link to a pattern i would love to try to learn. any one think for someone thats only been crocheting simple granny squares for years and years (same pattern) and not so long ago learned how to do afgans that just go back and forth could do this pattern? be really honest with me k? How many times do yall think it would take to get one that looked good enough to give away? i will check back sometime tomorrow afternoon.

It never ends amy. I have a brand new home and I clean that garage all the time and it looks like I live in a mess. We decided not to do the basement thing becausel of the water table in our area.

I guess I'm the bad for that....I told my hubby that our storage shed was a storage shed.....guess what....all chicken house.

Greeting, all.

Been MIA for a few days. With work, the kids, Christmas, etc., I'm barely able to get online. I have a computer at work, but I never have any time to sit down and even see what's happening.

My boy had Cardiology clinic on Tuesday with an EKG, echocardiogram and chest x-ray. Everything looks real good.

They want to see us again in 4 months, which is better than the every other month we've been doing.

I've been crocheting a doily for my Mom, and wristlet for my sister and mittens for my oldest nephew. I made a crochet hook cozy tonight, plus gingerbread and butter cookies.

*deep breath*
My husband is home from work, I can hear his car on the driveway now. I'm off tomorrow, so I get to sleep in!!

I'll get some pics up Sunday of my doily and some other stuff I've been doing.

Hey all, just checking in. Thanks for the emails checking up on me, it's nice to know people care.

I've been busy, busy, busy.....working 6 day weeks trying to stay on top of the bills and get Christmas presents bought.

Still chugging away at my crochet projects....the new projects seem to stack up faster than I can get the "in progress" ones finished. Right now I'm finishing up hat/scarf sets for a local girls shelter. The restaurant I work in tries to do something for the girls there every year, and over-zealous me volunteered to make 12 sets.......Then I have 2 commissioned scarves to make, and I want to make prayer shawls for two women I work with (sisters) whose mother was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor about 6 months ago and has recently taken a turn for the worse......so I'm keeping busy.

Hope everyone is doing well. I'll make sure to check in more often.
