No Chicks, I have my page set up in my profile (it's under Displays in your profile menu) set to 25 posts per page. That's all I set, everything else is the forum default and I only have 163 pages to read.

So, I am not sure if that helps or not...

Don't forget once you have a buddy, you can bug them all you want for specifics and not get buried in the posts. That's what we started the Adopt A Crochet Sister/Brother Thread for. And Karanleaf is still our best reporter for summing up everyone's news when we all get overwhelmed at once.

Hey gang: this is my weather report for tomorrow: SOUTHERN WISCONSIN WILL THEN BE IN A DEEP FREEZE...WITH HIGHS ON MONDAY ONLY CLIMBING INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS AND TEENS. WIND CHILL VALUES DURING THE AFTERNOON WILL BE BETWEEN 8 BELOW AND 18 BELOW ZERO ACROSS SOUTHERN WISCONSIN. (direct from the National Weather Service) Looks like a cozy hookin' day for me tomorrow...

I had to buy extra yarn to be sure Id have enough. Perhaps I should get them started so we can use them for Christmas stocking before he wears them.

My goodness....take a day off and my I had to read 10 pages.

Took the kids to the water park today, came home and cleaned the coop up a bit...neverending job....and did some housework and then sat down and crocheted with my fun fur and reg yarn. Making daughter a glittery furry scarf.

Fun fur nice.!!!!! The pattern called for a large guage. LIke that...2 weeks and already calling it proper.

This scarf is so easy compared to those fancy flower dishclothes that I have been making.

All newbies:

I'm pretty new here. The queen recruited me about 3 weeks ago and I'm crocheting like crazy now. I was adopted by all these girls. Questions answered as fast as you turn around. I even get my chicken advice here. Much better than postin it on the forum. I noticed I wasn't on the adoption list but I know that I can ask these girls anyway!!!

BTW: Got the pine tar not blue kote but didn't use it because the frizzle is not longer getting pecked at. IDK why? She is all healed up where they pecked her. I rubbed a little neosporin for humans on it. It was all I could think to do at the time. Maybe that kept them from pecking. ???? IDK...all I know is little funny runt frizzle is fine. I just love those chickens so much.

Well...it's bathtime for the kiddies and me.

Sounds like the neosporin worked. I might do that.

my mom also recommended Iodine which also worked for me...but getting the little buggers to sit still is a pain.

Sorry gang I have been outside working to cleanup some and make sure all the critters were set before this nasty weather comes in.. I just got back in from the gereenhouse and setting up some more bubble wrap for insulation along the walls.

Seriously I believe ya gals are on to something there... it's worth a try.. Of course ya know SE I will buggy you and Maw and Rocket for what I need to do to get the thread off and running. I had been looking for some graphics to set the Babyghan Send Off up with. So I have been thinking on it,also I have asked Okie to let me know on some colors as her fav and the theme she will have for babies room. So any pointers you ladies can give me will be more than WELCOME hint hint Am I being suttle enough???

No I have not done Christmas Shopping and I don't have any Christmas Lights up... Not doing any lights this year we have enough lights in the Greenhouse now Looks like a giant glow worm from the Highway.. Hehhehe

I'll tak some pics and post them. But I have really got to get Zoe's afghan finished got about 6 more large rounds to do and then sew them all together. wheww wee then some make more noodles, and bake some cookies and put together our goodie bags for Family and neighbors. I hope I got enough hours this week to get it all done. Sorry this was so long winded just had to get it all out while I was on a roll.
