I've been good it's been a relaxing last 2 days.
I was going to put the tree up the other day. But I went to the store up the street and they didn't have anything except charlie brown trees left.

As for the popscicles I have her sit in her chair with a wet paper towel and a bowl. So no messes. I'll have her as crazy as me about sticky before you know it.

Thank you, I always tell hubby to stay safe and wear his gloves. But he's good about that cause he's one of the safety instructors and he has to set a good example. And its much safer than it used to be now that the guys have fall arrest harnesses.
He's having a blast working with 2 of our nephews. They keep telling him he's old and he keeps telling them he's got boots older than they are. Which is not true cause they are 36 and 30.

Almost embarrassed to say - it'll be 65 here today. Not a pretty day, but warm! I wish we would get snow sometime in the next week, but the weatherman says we'll be having "seasonable" temps. Here, that means anywhere from 35 - 65 every day. So much for a "white Christmas"!

Maw ya got me mixed up with luvmychicx. She is the one that dropped out of the swap. I plan on staying in.

Here is the link for that cheap yarn place. Just keep in mind that they are mill ends and can have flaws, glue, knots in them, or a dropped ply . They are cheap but you take a chance. The company says they try to weed out the flaws but don't make any promises. I will let everyone know how my yarn turns out when I get it since I have already ordered and mine will get to me first. I haven't had time to catch up on my reading so I will be doing that then getting stuff done around here today since today is my last day off (with the exception of Sun. and Dec. 25) till Jan 3rd.

Good morning ladies! Ah ris I wish we could get some snow...especially for Christmas. It's rare that we have white Christmases here. Usually about once every 5-6 years or so.

sometimes less frequent, rarely more frequent. It's supposed to be 58 on Christmas day

Ok so my husband left for a business trip for his job on Sunday, and I didn't get a chance to sign on to let you guys know I wouldn't have the internet for almost a week! So I just disappeared! Sorry about that! I didn't get to the computer fast enough before he packed it lol!

What did I miss? I can't possibly catch up fast enough.


Okay so on Tues at around 4 pm my lower back started hurting. I didn't really think much of it until around 6 when it was still hurting, and coming in waves. I started to become alarmed because when I was pregnant with the twins, I started having persistent lower back pain at 32 weeks 2 days, and I thought it was just because I was carrying twins. I was in the hospital already, and I called the nurses and told them that they better monitor me. They put me on the toco and discovered I was having mid level contractions. (these DID NOT feel anything like contractions or labor) So they took me to the L&D and tried to stop the contractions but couldn't, and 13 hours later my boys were born.

all that background info to explain that I was thinking about that incident when I realized that this lower back pain was not going away, and also seemed like the same kind of pain that I had when the boys were born. I decided to go to the hospital; better to be safe than sorry.

I didn't really know where to go, so I went to the urgent care that I had lived in( literally lol for a month) They told me that they can't do anything to help me before 20 wks because the pregnancy isn't considered viable until then. So they checked me out to make sure that I wasn't bleeding out or anything and had me go to the main ER. That was an interesting experience. There were a million people in the ER, and because we didn't know what was causing the back pain, I had priority. It was kind of a cool experience as far as seeing how it's run. They said they are the 2nd in the country to do peoples labs immediately after triage so that when you get called back to a room, your labs are ready, and it cuts down (and into palatable pieces,) your wait time. So all of this mess and the labs come back and I have a UTI

Which I thought could be possible, but considering the circumstances around the twins being born, I didn't want to take any chances. Another bit of information that I found out is that my hormone levels are higher than my estimated gestational age. So either that means that I'm further along than first thought, or I am carrying multiples again.

I have an U/S appt at 8:00 AM on Christmas Eve.
