BYC Drawing Club(NEW!!!)

Is it alright if I give you a few tips? I don't want to come across as bossy or anything, which I do most of the time.
I see alot of potential in your picture of "The Doctor" (I've got no clue who you're talking about as I do not watch Star Trek

) But I think there are some things that could be fixed. Of course, I am probably not the best person to go to on creative citicism because I'm not too good of an artist.

Sure!

But, trust me, he's not as choppy in blending as he looks. That's my only defensive injection before you start.

Plus, he's not done.

I totally understand that I need a lot of work on people... I haven't drawn them in a while.

But anyway... You now have free rein!

Of course you aren't done! When is an artist ever truly done with their art? Its their only exscuse for the imperfections. Without that exscuse we'd have to come up with a reasonable reason for our mistakes, and who wants to do that?

A thing I noticed, which will totaly help when you go to draw people later on in life, is how the eyes seem to be a bit too hard-lined with your pencil. Its something I've had trouble with in the past, so don't worry about it. Anyways, to give the eyes a feeling of life, instead of using your pencil to draw the eye lids and stuff, use a dirty tortillion. It will come out smoother in the end and look more realistic. (That's how I always draw my eyes! :D )

Also, the pupils. I'm not sure if you were going to change them later on, but they're a bit round. Perhaps you could make them smaller?

Now, don't you go taking any of this as an offense, ya hear me?

That's a great idea! I've always had so much trouble with my eyes looking like cartoons.

Thank you!

I won't!

Darn, I couldn't find a thing on YouTube with the Doctor's funny moments.

Trust me - he's awesome.

Buh-bye! I'm supposed to be off by now, too, and I'd better go to bed if I want to wake up before 8.

Bye!
