LOL, you are a trip. I am pushing the top of the hill. Actually no... I hadn't drawn anything in years or painted anything. Taking care of the boys, my dad (who has passed), my now 70 yr old mom, the house, the only one working, the only one taking care of the birds, yard, etc... my hobbies got pushed to the back burner, and that burner was turned off. Aside from drawing a truck, semi, car, monsters here and there for the kids, nada... Anyway, the oldest boy brought home a paint by numbers and then realised it was much to much for him to do. He was only 6, never really painted anything that required time and concentration. I ended up finishing it. Realised how much I missed making pictures, and picked up a pencil again. I went through my boxes of stuff, found my old pads and pencils, acrylics in tubes (still good!) and water paints. I am not remotely able to paint anything that could go in a gallery, but in my own folders, on my own walls, sure. I can't draw a hand or a foot. I am a bit... blah... on perspectives on landscape, though I LOVE LANDSCAPES! Time, patience, and putting the pencil/brushes down at just the right time.... like when you realise you are starting to make it look worse, not better, helps...Those are so freakishly good! What's your secret?!
