The white letters look better to me. They blend in better. The dark ones stand out more. Unless that is what you wanted

I keep going back and forth, but I think I'll go with the first one. I like the deeper values. The face in the second picture seems a bit "washed-out".

By the way, it's a great picture. Nice job!

I've finally completed a drawing for the first time in months and I think it's one of the best that I've ever done.

It's based on a picture of my grandma from the 1940's and it took about 15 hours.
