How long did that take, and what pencil numbers did you use? I find I smudge with my palms too much.

i know with me, because i am a lefty i smudge my pencil sketches alot, hence why i dont color in pencil (other then color pencil)

Oh and i used charcoal and leads...1B, 1H, 2B and som other that i labled, dark, darker, darkest and light and you get the pattern.
