BYC Drawing Club(NEW!!!)

Wow, it's amazing, and only 4 hours of work! The more I draw, the better I get but something like this would take me at least 30 hours. How large is the drawing, and how do you go about drawing the hair? I'm pretty good with the facial features but my hair doesn't look as realistic as I'd like. Do you fill in darks and then go about earasing highlights?
My oh my! You are a inquizative one!

the drawing is 12" by 18".

the hair i drw based on a outline. then i draw the lines for the inside and do the strays afterwards.

Yes.

Yeah, thats what I use. I ordered a variety of sizes on ebay and they ended up being about 50 cents a piece which I thought was a pretty good deal. The small ones are great for doing eyes and lips and the larger ones work so much better for the large smooth areas of the face. I asked because I know some other artists who use other things like kleenix and they swear by it so I was wondering what you were using. I still can't believe you did that drawing in 4 hours. That is incredible, it's unbelieveable, hahaha. Just wow.

Great now I have something else to spend money on lol. I thought a had a decent collection of art supplies... I was incorrect

Blending sticks.... oh and on that note- erasing for your highlights..... do they make sufficient erasers that small? Usually they are flimsy or too fat.
