BYC Garden Club - veggie additions

Can someone suggest something either a bush or climbing that I can plant out by the coop?

depending where you live i would say hops or arborvite that you keep pruned up or any other kind of ever green. also nursery's can usually be pretty helpful

Thanks Marty! I will probably have to read through it another 2 dozen times just to wrap my brain around it and retain the info but it is VERY helpful. I already have leaf lettuces seeds ready to go. I am not sure my zone but I am 20ish miles north of Portland, Oregon.
