This was very helpful to me, but I have a question. If you have started 24 new threads, and answered to a thread, are you a new egg or just hatched. In other words, does the word posts refer to threads started, or threads started and answered?

Why are you starting so many threads, asking in essence the same or similar questions? wouldn't one thread asking all the questions at the same time be more productive? And why are you so concerned about how many posts you have or can make? the only reason I am asking is I find all of these threads about posting from one new member rather odd. I don't mean to offend you but I really find all of these posts strange, and being strange myself has got me curious.

I just want to know how the system works, and in the past when I have one essay long question, with multiple sub questions, only one or a couple of the questions gets answered. I'm not trying to spam anyone or anything, I just want a complete answer, and I have found out that only asking one question in a thread is more effective! I did not realize that I would be that noticeable. Should I just find a thread similar to my question that I have and reply to that thread? Is it bad to make a new thread? Will my question still get answered with the same thoroughness when replying to a question, as I do when I start a new thread? Many thanks for my many questions!

@chixcoop, I know just what you mean. I do that with emails. I've noticed that if you have multiple questions, or ideas that you want to get across, etc., in an email, people will tend to focus on only one of them, and the rest go unnoticed. I've tried all kinds of ways to make each one noticeable; separate paragraphs, bullet points, etc. But the best solution I've found is what you are saying -- a separate email for each one (or in your case, a separate thread for each one). If I have too many questions I just have to apologize to people for spamming them! Usually they understand, though, and fortunately it doesn't happen too often.

Sometimes several questions will get answered in one post, sometimes they don't. If your question gets lost in all of the replies, it is perfectly acceptable for you to start another post to ask again.
