BYC logic - thinking outside the box

My 4 year old grandson was doing a workbook page. He didn't put an "X" on the chicken because "It's okay for a chicken to be in a house."

He also didn't circle the turkey as something he'd eat because "That's what the dogs eat."
(we raw feed all our dogs)

Poor babies - my little grandsons will never fit the mold. BYC logic is not very mainstream, I'm afraid.

It's good thing my daughter is planning on homeschooling them.

another related story maybe: when DS was itty bitty in school, they all were asked to draw their homes. DS had to explain his...since he drew it in architectural plan form... just like mommy does.
