LC I don't know how picky the spider lilly flowers are as far as dirt goes. We have a brown to dark brown soil in TN with no sand but do tend to have some clay. I have only seen them grow in full sun except for the ones that I guess you could say are the grandparents to your seeds. They were growing in half shade and half sun. Mine grow really well in sun and as long as they are weeded and kept clean while they are little, they grow easy and reseed really well.

That sachet I made was from when I was learning how to make stuff by hand for my Civil War reinactments (SP). It was saposed to look like it was from that time period.

I knew you said you liked to make jewelry so thats why the jewelry stuff I sent wasn't put together.

The yarn ball looks really small compared to how it looked when I got it. Lion brand didn't wind it up so tight. Feel bad now that I see how little it is. I got the wool blend since you said you wanted to try something different.

Thanks for the info about the flowers. Sounds like they'll do good in our NC red clay. I'll try to mix a little mulch & topsoil in to give them a good base. I can't wait to get them started! I love the sachet bag, you did a great job on it, and I couldn't tell that it was sewn by hand!
And that ball of yarn is much bigger than it looks in my pic. Everything around it made it look smaller, and it was kind of sitting in a hole. (Is the yarn machine washable? Or handwash & dry flat?)
As for the jewelry findings, DH laughed at me when I found them. I was so excited! I LOVE getting new jewelry stuff. It took me about 5 minutes to start deciding what to make with it!

I am really glad you liked it. I put the paper that came around the yarn in there somewhere I think. It should have the washing instructions on there but not sure. I have never used wool befor or tried to wash it. Sorry for not knowing any more. Maybe the Lion brand site might have something on there about it?

I didn't respond to your question... And I'm getting ready this week to start planting some of the seeds indoors to get them ready for transplanting after the last frost. And even though it's been 80 for three days, it's supposed to be much colder again over the weekend. That's NC for you!

Oh LC, lol I knew what you got. I was just curious what others had gotten but last night I noticed on page 1 of this thread that we were not even saposed to mail out our mybs till today! I really jumped the gun. It said March 9th to March 12th.
