(12/12) 2!
The last few days someone has been laying in the evening! Found a couple eggs just laying in the yard, and one laid when it was dark and I was locking them up. 😂
One of those eggs laid in the yard, today, had a weird spot.

My Muscovy duck lays one egg every day despite having wet feather and shivering most of the time. I have another duck but she is too young to lay. Other than that I usually get 3 chicken eggs from my 4 chickens.

What part of the world are yyou in to have a Muscovy laying this ent feathear. Mine always quedit laying in late September when they have their big molt.

Does you Muscovy molt? usually wet feather happens a few months before molt here anyway. Once the molt they have good water repellant feathers. Have you check her preen gland to make sure its working? Adding some good quality protein to her diet [meal worms, small dog kibble or cat kibble] can help with feather quality not as main food source but as treats.

I am in Canada. I did not notice my Muscovy molt. It would be her first molt since I got her in the spring. My other duck molted. I do not see anything wrong with my Muscovy's preen gland. I give her, and all my birds, mealworms as treats. She has never been into bathing or preening. My chickens have mites, so she probably would too, but I don't think that's the problem because my other duck is fine. I think it is more a lack of preening with her oil gland for some reason. I washed her and blow dried her, but it did not encourage her to preen properly.
