BYC Member Interview - 416bigbore

Hi Mike! I really enjoyed reading more about you. I agree, ducklings are rather an interesting (and messy!) journey 😆
Thank you for your reply and and pointing that out. Yes, I hope more people would understand that when they take the challenge of ducks on, Ducklings do not make the prefect pet for most people because they are very messy and their daily needs for fresh water. :)

Awesome interview Mike, Thanks for letting us know you better. Your baby goat was way to cute and funny.
Hello Sue thank you. Little Scoot Scoot isn't so little any more he is about the same size as his Mamma. He is still a sweetheart and lots of fun to play with.

I still have to LOL over your experience with pigs. It's not funny at the time when they get out and the chase is on. I tell people they have not lived until they have had to chase a 250lb plus hog around trying to get it back into the pen.

I have found though if you place a 5 gal plastic bucket over a hogs head, you can walk them around backward with no problems. Even up a small ramp into a trailer. I miss hogs and hope to get back into them again when we find a bigger place.

Hi Mike.
Yes I FINALLY got around to reading your wonderful interview!
This seems to be a recurring theme with me. I'm always (sometimes violently) late to the party.
I'm glad I spent some of my time this morning reading your interview and thoroughly enjoying the pictures and video you shared. I may have to drive all the way down there and steal Little Scoot Scoot! He looks like a blast!
How did Chewy's rehab go? Is he still with you?

Thank you Tonya :) @DobieLover. I will have to try and post a new pic of Little Scoot Scoot, he is not so little anymore, he is a Moose but still lots of fun to play with.

As for Chewy, unfortunately he had passed awhile back. :( As I was preforming his necropsy, it was determined cause of death was a severed jugular from a freshly sharpened hatched. :gigI had him posted on CL for giveaway to a good home, but after people found out he was a little too aggressive and would come at you with his hackles flared and spurs up it was a deal breaker.

Chewy still lives on in away because I have 21 of his chicks I incubated and some of the cockerels look just like him. RIP Chewy

This is Kung Pao, Chewy's replacement, he is turning out to be a very nice docile cockerel so far. Unlike Chewy he could careless if I was in the coop or run with him and his new girls. I guess time will tell with him also, so far so good. :fl
