What a pleasure it was too have read both your interview and update** UPDATE on @FlyingNunFarm **
It's been several years since @FlyingNunFarm's member interview was first posted; time to catch up!
I can't belive it's been 5 years! So much has changed and yet so much is the same.

Even this picture is outdated. I don't even count how many birds I have now. Rereading my interview and seeing "I have 19 birds..." made me laugh. I run between 75 to 100 in 8 coops now.
My biggest coop which was a one car garage when I bought the property houses my colored egg layers and other "oh that's pretty" breeds. Wonder my white Americana rooster is currently my only color carrying male. But he is over any and all egg color laying girls so no specific breeds in that coop. He was named Wonder after losing one eye. No idea how he injured himself but he survived and was given the name.

I have separate coops for Swedish Flowers and Salmon Favorells. Affectionately known as Derps.
I have two separate groups of Silkies. I don't breed them for show or color. I go for the healthiest birds. So both coops are a motley crew of feather types and styles. Silkie and Satin feathers, Stripper, Showgirls, and frizzles. (Two groups to keep male and female frizzles apart of course) I even ended up with two wooly males.

Just a few of my crazy Silkies.
I also have a coop of Seramas and Serama mixes. I honestly don't breed them. I just love them and keep them for fun.
I sadly lost both my Cattle Dog and Chihuahua mentioned in my interview. At 12 and 17 they had great lives.

Before they were both gone I did bring home an Old English Bulldogge.

At 60 lbs she still insists she's a lap dog.

She is great with the birds and has run of the yard whenever I'm out. Her penchant for eating poop lead to a scary morning. I couldn't find her anywhere and was searching the neighborhood for her. Called my neighbor for help and everything. (We live on a fairly busy road with neighborhoods behind) She rarely ever barks or makes noise so frantically calling her I get no response.

I found her locked in a run helping "clean up". Safe and sound.
I also sadly lost one of the cats. The other two are still going strong. At 18 my big orange male has decided to be a lap cat. Much to the chagrin of the Bulldogge who doesn't like to share.
With chickens comes loss and the three mentioned in the interview have all passed. They will always have special place in my heart. As will Merida. She was a blind chick that moved into the house for treatment and never left. She sadly didn't live as long as I would have liked but they never do it seems.

Yes I am that crazy of a chicken lady!
Other big news would be the tornado that swept past the house. Northeast Ohio certainly doesn't get many of those, thank goodness. I didn't know it was a tornado at the time. But several were verified in the area.

This was taken only 2 miles south east of my house. A "small F1 with 110 mile an hour winds." We were all without power for almost a week some even longer. Obviously no where near the devastation that hit other parts of the country. It was certainly too close for my comfort though.
Well I think my update was longer than my original interview.
