@TwoCrows I debated on mentioning I tend to greet all the critters I run across - birds, lizards, toads, spiders... you get the picture

@oldhenlikesdogs Hubby mentioned getting a third Aussie awhile back, I gave him my best "are you nuts?" look; which dog did he think would give up "their" person to another Aussie?

@Debbie292d Thank you for the writing compliment! Thought about kids books, now if I could draw a bit better than stick figures to illustrate them...

I agree with @Debbie292d about your ability to write a good story. Your Princess story has heart, humour and happy ending; and I can see why you were fascinated by her markings when she was a chick ...gorgeous. (...and please pass on to your hubby that I think his prize koi fish are gorgeous too).
