So nice to meet you! Loved the interview. If that doesn’t make us pause and reevaluate I’m not sure what will.MrsMistyReal has been a member of our community since August 2014. She will most often be found in the Random Ramblings from section, hanging out with friends.
Tell us a bit more about yourself.
Hello everyone, guess who? ok we'll leave those who don't know to think on that let's carry on.
It was an honor to find out I was asked to be interviewedme wow. Well let's get this party started
I'm happily married 6yrs of ups downs twist turns everything you can image but it's been a blessing(February 14th)
Have our kiddo who lives with us full time special needs physically grown( but not mentally) however kiddo received a certificate for completing HS graduated last yr that's more than some folk
I to graduated many moons ago I have a nursing degree & a personal life management coach degree & Sunday school teacher
never extended the fields instead I chose to raise kiddo & a couple of bad choices in life however I'm here not there thankfully
Hubby is an amazing dad & incredible husband I admire his strength and perseverance in life. He's battling cancer since last year diagnosed April 2017 squamous cell carcinoma stage 4/surgery was extensive 22 1/2 hrs first time two days later another 4 1/2 hrs it was to remove his jaw tongue bottom lip upper roof of mouth.Hubby continues to work even though he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. He uses a peg tube for his nutrients he's definitely my inspiration
Why and when did you start keeping chickens and which aspect(s) of chicken keeping did you enjoy the most?
As for feathered family members none at this time
However back in the day I had a hobby farm before meeting my hubby. I had chickens, banties, horses, ducks. So I'm not new to the farm life, but being here is incredible learning experience. I do miss it alot once we know what direction we'll be taking with this horrible disease with our fingers crossed we hope to have a new home to start a hobby farmWhich will be one of my hobbies I enjoy cooking, baking, arts & crafts, reading, educating myself, walking, exercise, just trying to enjoy life
What was the funniest (chicken related) thing(s) that happened to you in your years as chicken owner?
As for being a prior chicken owner my most hilarious moment was my banty, Ed he sounded like he was dropping the F bomb, thank goodness at that time I didn't get very many visitors or a Preacher stopping by
What pets do you keep now?
We do have an out door dog we rescued him from being euthanized he was badly abused which in turn came with alot of behavioral issues main one is trust. He's with us however with other people he becomes very agitated & overly protective.
We have a cat who appears every now and then ,not sure where he came from so I call him Tom
Well that pretty much sums it up I don't have kin to speak for or chose to . With that said my kin comes from hubby's family & here.
Anything you'd like to add?
Being on BYC has been an amazing adventure every day is something new. The people here are incredible, you can have your tiffs & dislikes but still come out loving one another that's family. When you come out here you feel welcomed. When you been away, sick, or personal matters it feels good when people ask for you, pray, send well wishes, be there when others won't. Man that speaks volume. A lot of sites you go today it's nothing but gossip, sex, just complete crap. That's I don't FB, tweet I'm not a bird, I have basic internet on my phone, if I need more I go to the library. I enjoy coming out & wishing everyone a great day & sweet dreams at night. Each of you have touched my life in different ways but all of you as posted are family to me,every day I look forward to coming out here.Thank you for letting me share a little bit about me, hopefully I didn't put you to sleep, just in casewake up!! This interview is over love each of you
