BYC Member Interview - N F C

Thank you for a fun interview and great pictures. I enjoyed the ankle pecking story particularly. Who knew chickens could have SO much personality, right? ( some definitely more than others!) Debra and Diane are unusual names? I just heard someone say their new granddaughter's name is Chevrolet!??!

Thank you @KentuckyMom ! Chevrolet huh? That poor kid is going to get called by every car name in the book. My common name worked out well for me in junior high math class...there were 7 of us in that class and anytime the teacher called on "Debby" to answer a math problem, one of the others handled it, lol. Chevy isn't going to be able to hide among the crowd with her name.

I didn't realize you had an interview--I've got to keep up better! Great to meet you and your honey, and your girls. You're an amazing member of this community and we're blessed to have you here

Hi @lazy gardener ! That picture from a trip right after we got married. My 1st trip to Gatorland, 1st time at Disney, and a bunch of other places; we had so much fun playing tourists in our own state. Now that we have animals, it's not easy to get away but we do enjoy having them so much. I've seen pictures of your place...now there's a place it would be fun to vacation at, you have done such a lovely job making your home beautiful.
I'd love to have you come and visit! When you do, I'll take you out for a Lobster roll at The Eagle's Nest. It's a tiny little restaurant sitting on posts over the river. If you set a marble on the floor in the dining room, you'd never see it again. That floor tilts so bad, you'd swear you and your table were going to slide right out the window and into the river. Then I'd take you kayaking to one of my favorite spots: where the lake winds through a marshy area and the beavers sneak up behind you and smack the water with their tails. Sounds like a gun shot!

Hey, KM! Where you been hiding yourself??? What do you bet that Chevrolet grows up and marries a handsome young man named Ford?

If I ever make it up north to Maine, you got yourself a date! That sounds wonderful

Um, I don't suppose Wyoming would be on your way.....................

Actually I have family in your beautiful state, Cheyenne, Laramie & Sheridan. Maybe I should just plan to take a tour of the northern states of the country, starting with Oregon of course!

Sheridan? Seriously? That's just a left turn from my house, another left turn to the highway, then a right turn to the interstate! Of course, there's a 9000 foot mountain pass in the way, but heck...
