Well our school was probably a bit behind the times. We read them in first grade.
The names have a double meaning for me. I have a friend who I worked with at my very first job after high school who always told me the most hilarious stories about her sister named Jane.
One time the conversation came up about me liking birds and wanting a pet duck.
She told me her sister had a pet duck once and she took it everywhere with her and how it slept in the bed with her. One morning she woke up to find she had rolled over on her poor little duck in the night and smothered it :eek:They had a funeral for it and everything.
Not funny I know. . but the way she told the story was hilarious and I never forgot it. I told her back then that when I got me a pet duck I would name it Jane :lau

This would be the reason we don't have ducks even though we have a good sized farm pond! Winter water for chickens isn't a big deal but ducks are a different matter. Thus, I'll likely not run across you on BYC threads unless you join some of the Random Rambling ones that I follow.

Very nice interview. And after looking up pictures of Shania Twain, I would say you look more like her than you think!
