Which mottled breed are you introducing? Are you using salmons? You should get in touch with Dick Boulanger and see what the status is with his LF blacks. He may still have black bantams if you're going for those. I had LF blacks for a while but sent them to WA state. I only have salmons now.

I was just angered and disgusted by reading an artical on the news about a Cock-Fighting ring in Tewksbury! Thats very close to where I live. Why would people do this? ! Only good news is that it was broken up and several people were arrested. Several birds were rescued too. Hope those roosters have a much better life now!

Keesmom, I moved last July. It was not under the circumstances I had originally anticipated. My partner had enough 'doing the right thing' and wanted things to change so he had more time and money for himself so all the farm except a few birds went away and so did we. I still have the Orloffs and a few bantams for the kids. And you LIED! MA is so much more expensive than ME. The food esp!

Know anyone interested in working on Black mottled Favs? I have a few chicks here that'd be good for it, F3

Just looked up the article, because our local news didn't cover it. So sad, and most of them were injured badly.
