I’m posting in both the NH and MA threads because we split our time between the two. Hope that’s okay!

I will have a number of lovely bearded Silkie chicks available. All bred by master breeder Kate Morreale Some hatched on Tuesday, some last night/today.

I’m still figuring out which ones I’ll keep, but there are white, blue, black, and possibly splash.

2 chick minimum, $15 each or 3 for $40.

No shipping, but I can meet you in one of the following places if it helps: Claremont/Newport NH, Manchester NH, North Shore MA.

Anyone looking for a broody?

1 year old barred rock hen. Had been a great layer, but is stuck in a broody cycle I can’t break.

Anyone looking to hatch chicks, but no one will set a nest? Do it nature’s way! I don’t want to give her fertilized eggs as I hand raised 12 this year before she went broody.

Open to trade (hen/pullet only) as I’m integrating my hand raised chicks into my flock this week.

Do you still have any? I had one of my silkies (Easter hatch) pass away from failure to thrive this week. The other 3 are all looking suspiciously like Roo’s. I have a couple week old Easter Eggers I can mix them in with.

Hi Everyone,
I gotten custody of an orphaned wild mallard that fell out of nest high on a building. Does anyone know of any wildlife rehabs in MA that I can take it to? We called a few places but they won't take him/her.
Any leads would be great before I start calling this huge list on MAsswildfe's website. Thanks!

Have you tried MSPCA? Perhaps the one at Nevin's Farm. If they can't take him they should be able to refer you.

Is anyone interested in a Jersey Giant rooster? We may have to rehome our guy, Richard. He was meant to be "Daisy" and I'm not sure how long the neighbors will ignore him. He's 4 months old, so far he's not aggressive towards us, kids or our dogs. This pic is a few weeks old, he's got some nice green feathers now. Near Haverhill.
