Just to update my previous post, MSPCA referred me to New England Wildlife Center in Weymouth. They accepted my orphan and passed him onto another rehabber with other single ducklings. I’m glad he’s going back to the wild, even though I miss him tremendously!

Is anyone interested in a Jersey Giant rooster? We may have to rehome our guy, Richard. He was meant to be "Daisy" and I'm not sure how long the neighbors will ignore him. He's 4 months old, so far he's not aggressive towards us, kids or our dogs. This pic is a few weeks old, he's got some nice green feathers now. Near Haverhill.

ther buy or make a "No Crow" rooster collar. I made one from 2 inch wide velcro and it works well enough that my neighbors don't want to kill me or the rooster.

Sorry if this isn’t the right place for this but I just figured some of you guys might know or have ideas so....

Thinking I might start horseback riding again. Haven’t in like... 5 years. Haha definitely miss it. Anyone have any good barn recommendations or whatever of places to ride at? For like lessons and stuff? Thinking I’ll probably start with lessons again but maybe eventually leasing or both. Idk. I just want to be around horses again. Don’t really care about the style of riding either although I do like both western and English but it seems like almost no one around here does western haha I’m cool with anything though. Not really looking to show or anything, just ride again. Although who knows, maybe eventually I will.

Anyway, I’m in like eastern MA on the south shore between Boston and Cape Cod so preferably somewhere around there or at least like not too far. But I can travel some. Like maybe a half hour or even an hour if necessary. Just don’t want to be going super far. And hopefully there are places closer than that.
