BYC members in Massachusetts?

I am looking to find a good home for some sweet, lovable Coturnix Quail Roos. My latest hatch left Us with too many. They are my kids pets and they are handled multiple times a day. Very sweet little boys. We are south of Boston if anyone is interested!

I know it's a long shot but we're looking for someone to take in a juvenile Canada goose with angel wing. We've been unable to find a sanctuary for her and were hoping to find someone who may be able to take her in. Keep in mind that Canada geese can be seized without a permit to own them, which is why we can't keep her. If you had the right set up, you might be able to make it work without. She is extremely friendly and sweet. She loves people though she is not human imprinted. Loves other geese and ducks too. We want her to go somewhere she will be happy, loved and safe - as a pet only. In New Hampshire, but willing to travel.

One of my whites has started to crow! I now have 4 browns and one white. He has some blue nail polish on his breast feather from his ‘you’re a boy!’ manicure. :)

Hi everyone, I’m new here to the chicken community. We’ve raised 5 silkies and a couple of others breeds since we got them the end of May and somehow all 5 of our silkies ended up being males. We can’t have roosters here in Taunton and they are starting to crow now. Is anyone out there able to take these guys for us?

Hello- we’re moving abroad and therefore have to say goodbye to our beloved egg laying pets. We’re looking for a good home, so not giving away to just anybody as we want to make sure they do not end up in soup or fighting arena.

Happy to work out transportation/delivery together.
  • 6 bantam pullets (polish, silky, cochin, serama, easter-egger, d’uccle)
  • Coop
  • Run (omlet fence)
  • Automatic night-door with timer
  • Heater for winter
  • Waterer with float valve
  • 2 spill-free feeder-buckets
  • New PDZ bags
  • 50lbs feed bag

Do you know the gender of these chickens? I would love to have them, but I don't think I have a good setup here. Are you really giving away the coop?
