Hello back to you~~~

I used to have chickens when I was kid. But I lived south with no snow.
This is first time I'm raising chicken with snow country.
So I'm sure I'll be back here to ask a lot of questions!

Hi all,

I'm in north central Ma, and it would be great if others in my area could share information on what brand, and type of feed they use and where they purchase it. I was wondering if there was some type of co-op in this area or if someone locally makes up a feed mix from local sources? I am trying to find the healthiest, most cost effective source to feed my flock. Ideally I'd love to go organic but I am not sure what the prices are around here (I have yet to ask anywhere), and doubt I could afford organic. Currently I am feeding Blue Seal grower. My hens are about 13 weeks old and this is my first experience with hen keeping.

If there are already answers to my questions on this thread or elsewhere please feel free to redirect me.
