Thank you all so much! I, too, was glad that the cross beaks got some air time. I hope it will make people realize that it isn't necessarily a death sentence for them. The two I have get along wonderfully. I guess the feed I was giving them looked kind of gross, but they do very well with the fermented feed as I think the wetness makes it easier for them to eat.
