Thank you BYC. In my town (a small one) City hall said I could have all the chickens I wanted. I have 7. One neighbor tried to get them to owtlaw them. My sister lives in a big town next to Washington DC. She said their neighborhood does not allow chicken she sometimes calls me Jethro Bodine (we love each other very much) just different cultures). My other sister lives in the country and thinks its great that I got some chickens. The rest of my neighbors is OK with my chickens. If the econemy stays bad I cant see why people can tell other people thy cant keep chickens. I dont care if someone in the neighborhood keeps rattlesnakes as long as they can keep em on their own place. I am paying for my place. I pay all my taxes. I will keep chickens as long as I can do it.( i hope always). Thanks again BYC for helping folks who want to keep up an American tradition.
