that is certainly never our intention. I can't help if someone feels ignored or left out...We all try to go out of our way to be friendly, but I guess some people can be a bit sensitive.

I have never failed to answer a single PM I've ever received, and have zero problem with someone asking me to explain a joke. Our threads get long, I imagine it's hard to keep up at times, but we welcome anyone to jump right on in. We have had three newcomers just this week. As far as I know, that doesn't fit the definition of a clique.

We LIKE new people. And trust me...none of us bite. Well, Spook and MFB do...just stay out of their way when brownies come out of the oven.

I don't believe you're a clique. Some of the cliques on here are the exact opposite of what you act like; ignoring and disliking newcomers, don't go out of their way to be friendly, etc.

It's a reality that some people can be lonely 'in a room surrounded by those who love them'. My daughter told me this many years ago when she caught me in a moment of melancholy. Just some food for thought. First rule is get right with yourself and all around you will improve. Trust me when I say I am describing myself and what worked for me.
