Exactly Spook. We have a lot of threads we might post on together, but I have never seen any of us say we didn't want anyone else posting, nor are we rude when they do. I don't think we fit as a "clique". We LIKE new people...always room for more minions.

As far as hijacking...well...uh...I'll pass on responding to that.

Trouble is, I've forgotten what it was. Thats on of the problems
with being old. I forget a lot.

Now this is terrible...

I'm mad at Em because of something she did.
But I'm old, and I've forgotten what it was.

Em has no ideal what she did to upset me.
She is old, and has forgotten whatever she did.

Does anyone out there remember what Em did?
Sort of pointless for me to be mad at the Queen if
I can't remember what I'm supposed to be mad about.

See? THIS is what you young people have to look forward
to in your old age. You forget everything. This is why old
people have a routine. We don't handle change well.

And this "new and improved" BYC...its got all us Elders concerned.
If we disappear, you know why. We got lost. Personally I think
it's the adminstrations way of weeding us out. They're too kind
to simply kick us out because we're old. They're just going to redo
the board...problem solved.

Only the smart elders will appear here next week.

There is very little hope for me and Em.

BYC just wouldn't be the same without my Elder friends. I'm gonna have to be sure and keep tabs on Spook...don't want him getting lost.

For the most part I've found BYC to be a nice place, I do know of some others that are a bit friendlier, but they don't have as many members either. In each section there are a group of people who are passionate about that topic and sometimes act like "know it alls". Other then that... I enjoy being here.

well I am glad everyone thinks so highly of each other. I also know that there are some people that do not get a good reaction when they post on here. There will always be the people that no matter what they post, some will openly disagree with them just because they don't like them. If they don't disagree, they will ignore them and make them feel unwanted hoping that they leave. I'm not talking about GJF, I am talking about RR. I myself try to give people a chance, and know that what you see on byc is not the whole story. Most people are wonderful, caring individuals...and it doesn't always come across on the internet that way.
