Me and my wife had chickens and ducks when we were kids. We just got several new chickens, ducks and bantams. I thought I'd join this forum since it seems to have so much information.

I'm new too, but

Good luck on your chicken and duck adventures!

Yes, this is THE place to be when you own poultry!

Great to have you aboard and enjoy BYC!

Thanks to all. This is my first time on a forum of any kind. I am trying to figure this stuff out so I am saying sorry ahead of time if I do or post something in the wrong place. I can't seem to post anything using IE. I had to use Fire Fox in order to post a reply.

Yes, you will find that IE doesn't play nice with BYC and that you will have to use Fire Fox or Chrome.

But yes, BYC is a big place. You will get the hang of it eventually and don't worry if you post in the wrong place. We won't throw you to the alligators.

Well I appreciate that. LOL! I did have a question and I did post it in another thread but I guess until I get the hang of it I will just ask here to be sure. I just purchased 3 baby Bantams from my local farm store and no one there could tell me what kind they are. I believe the solid white one is a Red Pyle due to some research I have done on the internet. The other two I have no idea. Any suggestions?

Yea, I went in there to buy some stuff to tap my maple trees and came out with them. LOL! Couldn't resist. They were the tiniest things I have ever seen. There were a couple of replies on the other thread that said the bottom one looks to be a golden sebright and the middle one could be a silver phoenix. Looked them up and both are beautiful birds. Thanks for the help.
