Solved BYC not working in afternoon and evening of 10-4-20?

I just checked one of the busier threads and it looks like they were uninterrupted during that time frame.

Ah, I didn't think of that this morning, good sleuthing!
I actually went to BYH(messaged you there) and saw nothing, thought I would if it was the site and not just me here.

Oh, that was a very smart idea! It's hard sometimes to identify if the issues are user/network related, or site/server reltated.

So, when I find BYC is "down" I first go here:
https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/backyardchickens.com

That "pings" BYC from multiple locations to see if it's world-wide or no.

I'll also disconnect from my wifi on my phone and try to get to BYC from my cellular network. That also helps show me that sometimes it's a local network routing issue.

@casportpony, your idea of looking to see if posts were made during that time was also super smart!

If peeps still notice issues, please reply with as many details as possible, including:

1. When/ where
2. Steps to duplicate
3. Screenshots
4. Browser version
5. If you tried from another device / browser / network and had the same issues

Thanks for this link. As you can see by my signature I have lots of issues. Other sites work well nearly all the time . I just thought because this site is huge. Lot of nooks and crannies to explore, or because my devices are older. We all know how A§§le feels about outdated devices. Now, if they just offered a 75% off coupon or gave me a personal bonus only to be used for their stuff maybe I could afford that new pad or phone they insist I buy.
