Is this stick too long to get through the doorway?

Those of us who have been dog owners know exactly what you mean! Our Rottie tried to take his long stick in thru his dog house door. After several attempts going thru the door the stick eventually broke apart smaller & he finally took his toothpick prize into the dog house. Why a dog needs a stick in the first place in his dog house is still a mystery to me?
