Yes. A few years ago, I noticed a 5 year old hen in distress. I picked her up gently and could tell she was in pain. I held her, her body convulsed, and that was expelled from the vent. She died immediately. It is an example of internal laying. While not a dropping, it came out the same end.

Here's a new one:

• Mature underweight peahen, not eating, not drinking. When found could hardly walk.
• One negative fecal, one positive for coccidia and "whip worms" (dog vet).
