Investigating BYC software does not work on new iOS

I got a new iPhone (iPhone 8) a month or so ago, and the BYC app does not work on it. When I try to open the app, it brings up a message that says "Backyard Chickens (BYC) Needs To Be Updated -- This app needs to be updated by the developer to work on this version of iOS."

Bummer, because I loved using BYC on my phone. Please advise if and when this will be fixed. Thanks!

Thats not a solution it is a work around.....

That being said, have you updated the app and your phone? I was getting that same thing but it works now.

I can access it just fine from my computer on any internet browser. I cannot, however, use the app on my new iPhone. Sorry for not being as clear as I should have been.

Oh, I'm sorry. Yes, I would imagine that would likely work but would be a pain to view and enter content, etc. Thanks for the idea. In any event, I am still wondering whether BYC will ever fix the actual app it so it can be used on the new iPhones. They seemed to have spent a decent amount of time (and I assume money) upgrading the site not too long ago, and it not working on new iPhones IMO is a huge set back.

That is not an answer to the app not working..... The OP was asking if and when the APP would be fixed....

Try updating the app and make sure you are on the latest version of IOS I was having the same message but now it works
