What's the difference between insert image and attach files?

If you're asking about the technical jiggery-pokery behind how they work, I have no idea

What's the difference between insert image and attach files?

I have never seen ‘insert image’ but that may be what I do when on my phone. Not sure.
I copy the photo and then paste it into my post.
So much easier than attach files for a single photo.
If going to post multiple photos then the attack file thing is easier.
By easier I mean fewer clicks.

It worked on 9/18/2025:

This is my last cell phone photo
A friend of mine once mentioned that as part of her becoming a better person, she always returns her grocery carts to the "cart corral" when she's done shopping. Now I do the same and will text her pictures of the carts I return.

It does not rotate them when using the icon in the tool bar:

It rotates them using the Attach files button:

Yeah I just didn't know why the buttons do different things. Like, the code behind it or whatever (not a techy person)
