Never seems to be as tender or flavorful. Even the usda prime stuff just isn't as good as we can get other places. And for the few cents less per pound amount it costs, I'd rather pay the difference

Yeah, I noticed that, and that's one of the reasons I buy it when it goes on sale. When they mark down the meat, it's usually marked down by at least 50%, so I often get nice steaks for less than ground beef.

Making burgers tonight! Mine will be cooked rare and be topped with blue cheese, sautéed mushrooms, & lettuce. @beluga3858's will have cheddar, sautéed mushrooms, & bacon!
