Ew, rhubarb. I forgot about that. I'm also not a fan of fennel.

I cannot stand fennel, I really don't like anything that tastes like licorice.

Don't waste any money on a head of fennel. I gagged, and threw it in the garbage.

Oh wow I never realized that! That’s so interesting! I’m gonna have to try it with just rhubarb sometime.

Strawberry mixed in with the rhubarb makes a sour pie for two reasons. The strawberries tend to be sourer than rhubarb and the recipes call for less sugar because of using strawberries. Good rhubarb is not sour it is tart. There is a difference between sour and tart.

Do beets taste like dirt to you? That's why my dad always hated them.

I don't know that I've ever had beets, but radishes taste like dirt to me and that's why I don't like them.

Peanut butter is delicious. It just does not belong in a pie.

Peanut butter pie is my favorite, though.
