Thank you! If I was to ever breed, I would most have to separate Blackberry from the Dominique roosters, because those boys love her! And half of the time, they are the one's mounting her!

It has been a while, too long! My parents are officially divorcing and I've had a crazy emotional 5 months, but I'm starting to get my life back on track, focusing on school and keeping my chickens all alive through winter. How are you?Howdy! I haven't talked to you in a while! What's new?![]()
That is great! I'm doing good, I've been busy working multiple part time jobs to keep my (80) chickens fed through winter.I am doing wonderfully! How are you?! We're getting ready for Christmas!!!

That's great! Blackberry is beautiful! I hear ya on that one, I'm losing sleep trying to figure out how I'm going to keep them all fed.Blackberry started laying a few weeks ago, so her eggs are still pretty small. I'm not sure what my plans are right at this moment, but as of right now I'm just focusing on keeping the chickens fed!![]()
Satchmo looks like he has a lot less leakage, doesn't he? Do you think you will focus on breeding him to Blackberry instead of Ping? They are both beautiful boys!Ping and Satchmo have some color leakage; so that's one disadvantage.
But Blackberry, other than being very small, is purebred.
