Thank you! If I was to ever breed, I would most have to separate Blackberry from the Dominique roosters, because those boys love her! And half of the time, they are the one's mounting her!

I started with 12, but eight of them didn't even develop! Another one hatched, but it only lived for a couple of days.

Howdy! I haven't talked to you in a while! What's new?

It has been a while, too long! My parents are officially divorcing and I've had a crazy emotional 5 months, but I'm starting to get my life back on track, focusing on school and keeping my chickens all alive through winter. How are you?

I am doing wonderfully! How are you?! We're getting ready for Christmas!!!

The Ayam's turned out very nicely! 2 roosters and one lovely hen! Their names are Ping, Satchmo, and Blackberry I'll post pics later

That is great! I'm doing good, I've been busy working multiple part time jobs to keep my (80) chickens fed through winter.

And we just got our first Christmas tree in years!

Blackberry started laying a few weeks ago, so her eggs are still pretty small. I'm not sure what my plans are right at this moment, but as of right now I'm just focusing on keeping the chickens fed!

That's great! Blackberry is beautiful! I hear ya on that one, I'm losing sleep trying to figure out how I'm going to keep them all fed.

Ping and Satchmo have some color leakage; so that's one disadvantage.
But Blackberry, other than being very small, is purebred.

Satchmo looks like he has a lot less leakage, doesn't he? Do you think you will focus on breeding him to Blackberry instead of Ping? They are both beautiful boys!

yeah, long time! Im pretty good, lots of happy exciting things in life right now. to more immediate things, its raining all week and theres mud everywhere and the ducks are loving it and Im wishing it would stop for a lil bit so I could do things I cant exactly do when its raining (not that I dont wanna get wet......I just cant paint things in the rain, you know?)
