Yes the top of the run is covered in 1/2 inch hardware cloth. It hangs over the edges rather tha trimmed to fit. The roll it came in causes it to curl It makes a sharp edged barrier for any critter that tries to climb the wall.

I like the multi-purpose trampoline . Cute idea .
