I agree. I am working on my entry.

I actually just shot a duck, so I’m trying to figure out what I can do that would would fit it into the contest.

I guess it’s only scary for duck lovers, though.

Entry:

This entry is probably only scary to duck lovers.

I did not post this picture on another forum, I made sure of that for the contest. I went out hunting, and got a female mallard. Here in Idaho, waterfowl season is open, and you are allowed 7 ducks per day, no more than 2 can be female mallards.

1.5 pounds after processing. Not bad, but I’ve taken bigger ducks.

Anyway, here is the final result.

Roast duck with giblet gravy and mashed potatoes!

To me, nothing says October like the opening of waterfowl season!
