Thanks! These are the first for my new paint cockerel, so I am quite pleased. That's RAD!What is the light source? I'm planning to candle duck eggs in two days on Day 7, which I know is early. The incubator is full, and fertility is unproven, so my thought is I can replace the clears with chicken eggs and they "should" hatch on the same date. Hopefully they'll look like your photo here but I'm not getting my hopes up.
Wow! ..I struggle to see inside eggs with my bright torch at day 7! What do you use?For all of you that haven’t set yet, this is what a DAY 4 egg can look like!View attachment 2850272
I know you are not asking me, but I use a flashlight. Candle in pure darkness for best results. Even a small light lamp will cause issues when candling.Wow! ..I struggle to see inside eggs with my bright torch at day 7! What do you use?
