BYC's 2024 Spooktacular Halloween Hatch-Along
Critter Halloween Costume Contest
Ends on November 2nd, 2024

Why should we humans have all the fun of dressing up for Halloween? We want you to see your amazing pets showing us their wild side. Spooky, scary, funny, or charming. We want to see your pets in their best Halloween costumes. So grab your camera, and ask your pet what they want to be for Halloween. We all like being someone else for Halloween. Show us what your pet wants to be.

If entries warrant, we will have two categories, "poultry" and "non-poultry."

Prizes - At least three 3-month PFMs

It's easy to enter, just reply to this thread with pictures of your pets, livestock, or domestic poultry in a Halloween costume.

To increase your chances of winning, please read the rules before entering.

Rules:

1. Four entries per member. One photo per post, please.
2. An entry is one picture of your pet, livestock, or domestic poultry wearing a Halloween costume. One entry per post, please.
3. Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
4. No screenshots, watermarks, date stamps, text, etc., on the photo. No collages.
5. The photo needs to have been taken by you.
6. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC-sponsored contest.
7. High-quality images are recommended. Basic editing, such as cropping and other subtle changes, are allowed.
8. ALL photos MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
9. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
10. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
11. Entries will be accepted through November 2nd, 2024, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

Yes! She got them done professionally. It’s OPAWZ pet friendly permanent dye (not really permanent it fades quickly due to the lack of harsh chemicals!)

I already have an idea of what Grandma is going to be dressing up as. There are 2 she couldn't decide on, but she'll show you all two costumes she wanted, that are all designed by me. I can't give away what the costumes are going to be just yet.

Mochi as a chicken sandwich. Trying to explain to the gentleman at the antique store why I needed a large picnic basket without anything in it was fun.
