BYC's 2025 Spooktacular Halloween Hatch-Along

One of my ee hens consistently lays these elongated bright blue eggs. I usually wouldn't hatch any egg that looks like that, but I want to try to hatch eggs from all my hens if possible. Should I give it a shot or just eat all her eggs?

I have decided to do the hatch! I might sell/give some of the chicks I hatch to friends, but I will do it! I started collecting eggs for the hatch yesterday. Here is my stash so far.

Here are the eggs from a friend, I will be setting a day or so early for Halloween hatch.

The rooster is one I got from Meyers and gave to a friend these are also his hens eggs. They are LO and LO mixes.

He is a very nice rooster. Sir Splash. I think he is a blue copper maran, but I could be wrong.
