Ok picked 20 eggs to put in. My Wyandotte’s eggs are slightly smaller. Will those two be an issue or do any others stand out as something I need to pull?
I wasn’t expecting as much variety as I got so I was pretty excited! These girls stay making me happy haha.I'm a bit jealous of the color variety tbh! Those are beautiful eggs.
I would do a quick candling to check for any hairline cracks in the shells. You need a really dark room to get a good look at the shells.
As for the size you could set the larger ones today and add the smaller ones in 12-24 hours to 'close the gap' a bit.
I hate leaving early chicks in the incubator for more than 12 hours, but that's just me, I can't wait to snuggle them once they're dry, lol.
So close! The wait is killing me already :Can I set them yet? OMG!
