I made the new chicken owner mistake of keeping them inside much longer than I needed to the first time so we’re totally prepared for that haha.

Ok picked 20 eggs to put in. My Wyandotte’s eggs are slightly smaller. Will those two be an issue or do any others stand out as something I need to pull?

I'm a bit jealous of the color variety tbh! Those are beautiful eggs.

I would do a quick candling to check for any hairline cracks in the shells. You need a really dark room to get a good look at the shells.

As for the size you could set the larger ones today and add the smaller ones in 12-24 hours to 'close the gap' a bit.

I hate leaving early chicks in the incubator for more than 12 hours, but that's just me, I can't wait to snuggle them once they're dry, lol.

I wasn’t expecting as much variety as I got so I was pretty excited! These girls stay making me happy haha.
Oh yes, I definitely need to candle quickly just in case! Thanks.
Thankfully most are close in size just those two making it hard but I want to try one of each at least haha
