I candled 15 the unhatched silkie egg and it looks internally pipped. Or at least I saw movement, meaning it's not dead.

How many more do you have? Have they pipped?
Ugh autocorrect keeps changing "pipped" to "popped"
5 total still in the incubator. There's one that pipped and the hole is a tiny bit bigger than the last time I looked. Another one I saw motion when I candled, but it hasn't pipped yet. The other 3 I didn't see motion or hear anything, but I was being quick so I may've missed it.
Were able to hear anything in the darker eggs you can't candle? Even if they aren't piped you might hear tapping if you tap the egg. My house was just noisy when I tried to listen to mine.
Depending on how things go today I'll give another listen tonight after everyone/thing (people, chicks, dogs) goes to bed.

I'll try that once I get home, thanks. But what kind of "tapping noises" are you describing?
Not really sure how else to describe it but tapping.
